Focassion

  Focassion. 

No it's not a new moccasin or shoe.  It's not a contagious disease carried by birds.  
 
I've created this word.  I did this because I have gone on about passion in my writings and yet despite that I don't succeed in achieving them always.  

I focus on things that I'm not passionate about.  I get distracted by those things that may be practical, but don't advance my mission on earth. What I really want to do. 

So I came up on this term. Focassion.  Is it your focus and your passion? 


Focassion. It's a noun. It is the one or two things that you focus on they you really are passionate about.   

I suggest there can be at most three Focassions.  I would expect a person to spend at least and hour a day on each. 

Because your Focassion is your life.  

So what are mine ?  Right now they are...and I reserve the right to change them.  :)

My family-  this is pretty obvious. But I get a lot of growth from my family and strive to spend my time with my rapidly growing children. 

Writing/telling stories that make people hopeful. 

Technology. I just love computers and the future.  

So where is God ?    In the next segment I'll be discussing where God relates to my Focassion.  A hint -  God is the base of it all.

Recently my family and I went to visit a place called Astoria, Oregon, and had a wonderful time. There was delightful breakfast place called Pigs 'n Pancakes. We stayed in the Astoria Riverside Inn, which was wonderful, with large rooms, game systems, and a wonderful view. Yet, most of all, we were surrounded by Lewis and Clark sites.  Are You Here?   If you're not aware, the Lewis and Clark expedition started in St. Louis in the early 1800s. Those two brave gentlemen and a party of more brave gentlemen and at least one woman, Sacagawea, made their trek all the way to the Pacific coast.  On their way out to the Pacific, however, they got stuck. They got stuck here: Now you have to understand, these guys were tough.  Stopping them wasn't easy.  Yet, so close to the ocean, they get stuck in this little outcropping.   Here's how he describes it: Rain soaked the expedition party that night, and it continued at intervals throughout...
